Exclusivity
Superior Wire & Technical Services is the exclusive North American sales agent and distributor of machines and parts for the Kyungnam Machine Co. (KN) of South Korea.
KN automated cage machines are fairly priced, save labor costs, have U.S.-based (no-cost) online technical support, and a U.S.-based parts inventory.
SWTS Parts Supplier
SWTS has a warehouse in Grand Prairie Texas, stocking parts from KN to ship to pipe plants on demand. The cost of shipping from Korea is lowered with ocean freight shipments to the warehouse. Parts are delivered from Grand Prairie to pipe plants overnight for speedy repairs.
Technical Support
Service technicians are available online to assist plant maintenance personnel. Technicians travel to precast facilities to repair machines or make adjustments when their technical skills and experience are needed at the plant. Occasionally, KN sends engineers from Korea to help with equipment maintenance or repairs. This arrangement ensures quick parts delivery to keep a plant operating and technical support in the USA for problems the plant operators cannot handle alone.
Our History
SWTS operated as a division of Forterra Pipe and Products until December 2017 when Forterra sold the operation to Greg Minteer. Superior Wire & Technical Services is a separate, privately-owned business incorporated in May 2016.
